What is a Supply Chain Executive’s Salary?

by George Muha on October 5, 2011

Its no doubt the hot trend for manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors is to scale out their supply chain.  Companies are smartly realizing that profits are directly tied to operational excellence, so capturing this ideal is becoming a necessity.  So while companies allocate funds for the hiring of the proper talent, I thought it would be insightful to see the price tag at which this comes.

Thanks George! I just forwarded this article to my boss with a note that says, “Muha says I need a raise!” If I get fired its your fault.

Whoa, slow down Unruly. I hope you really didn’t say that. You need to tell your boss that Salary.com says you need a raise. I suggest you reference Salary.com’s job descriptions for these titles. That is a great way to benchmark your value to the market.

However I call if your email ends up with you getting a raise, I get a 25% vig of the first year’s raise.

Since so many products are imported into the US I can see the demand for a very qualified logistics professional yielding these types of salaries.
